December 15, 2023 - Search Launches for Vice President for Business and Finance
Dear Campus Community,
I’m excited to announce the launch of the search for Chico State’s next Vice President for Business and Finance. I met with the campus search committee on December 14 and have asked committee members to work expeditiously through the process in order to bring finalists to campus in April 2024 and have a new vice president identified by May 2024. The University has contracted with the firm Academic Search to support the committee in this recruitment.
I would like to thank our colleagues who will serve on this important search committee. They are: Tiffani Anderson, Stacie Corona, Nicol Gray, David Hassenzahl, Pamela Hollis, student Madison Kelley, Rachel McBride-Praetorius, Joseph Morales, Tawnie Peterson, Monique Sendze, Doris Schartmueller, Randy Southall, Sheryl Woodward, and Jinsong Zhang (chair). I appreciate the careful consideration and time they will invest throughout the process.
Finally, attached is a copy of the draft position announcement the committee will use to attract applicants. If you have feedback regarding the draft, the committee would like to hear it.
