February 29, 2024 - Upcoming Employee Engagement Survey  

Dear Campus Community, 
 
Chico State has decided to participate in the Great Colleges to Work For program, an institution-wide survey that will be distributed to faculty and staff on March 4. The information we receive from this survey will be helpful as we continue to create
the best possible workplace. Survey topics include work quality, communication, management, workplace culture, benefits,
and many other subjects.
 
On Monday, you will receive an invitation with details about the survey and how to log in. This invitation will be sent via
email from Great Colleges and you will be able to access the survey from any computer. When you receive the invitation, please take a few moments to complete the survey. This is a chance to make your voice heard, and a high response rate helps ensure an accurate representation of our community. At the close of the survey, we will receive reports that summarize the organizational competencies and relationships that most directly impact and influence our culture.   
  
The survey is voluntary and completely confidential. Surveys will be processed by ModernThink LLC, an independent management consulting firm focusing on workplace quality in higher education.    
 
I encourage everyone to participate and hope you will take this opportunity to share your honest feedback. Moving forward, the plan is to conduct the survey every other year to provide ongoing information. It will replace the campus climate survey we have conducted on campus in the past.
