November 17, 2023 - Enjoy the Upcoming Holiday Weekend: A Note of Thanks from Steve Perez

Dear Campus Community,  

As we head into fall break, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you for all the work you do to make Chico State the exceptional place that it is. Each of you plays a crucial role in supporting our students and making our University the vibrant campus we know and love.  

Whether you are taking time off next week or simply looking forward to a long weekend, I hope you get a chance to take a well-deserved pause to reflect on the achievements and experiences that have shaped this year and find inspiration for the opportunities that lie ahead.   

Whether it's exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, or catching up on much-needed rest, I hope your break is filled with happiness and good times. Please take the opportunity to do something nice for yourself by doing something nice for someone else.
