Hello everyone! I am a faculty member in the department of chemistry and biochemistry. I actually graduated from Chico State and went on to complete my graduate degree at Purdue University. I’ve been teaching since 2012 and when the opportunity presented itself to move back to Chico, I took it! In 2015, I had my very first SI leader help to support my organic chemistry students and I quickly came to the realization of how impactful SI leaders can have in student success. Since 2019, I have been the SI faculty liaison, with the mission of being the bridge between faculty and SI leaders to ensure the use of best practices of implementing SI in the classroom.
