Hi everyone! I am from Walnut Creek, CA, and in my 3rd year of a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Music. I am beginning the PhD application journey for 2025 fall programs and I hope to return to Chico State as an engineering professor. I love mechanical engineering and materials science, so I am ecstatic to share one of my passions by being the Dynamics SI Leader. I am also the Materials Research Society club President and Lead Student Researcher under Dr. Yasar. It’s my first semester as an SI Leader and I am excited to work with the SI Team and Dr. Yasar on this new endeavor. I am looking forward to helping students experience the “click” I am addicted to when a challenging subject starts to make sense.
