Kureha was born and grew up in Kyoto, the city that maintains traditional Japanese culture and landscape, Japan. She is a transfer student from Butte College and worked as a Japanese Tutor there, too. She has always enjoyed involving Japanese Conversation Hour at Chico State since she was a butte student and volunteering to support others. This is her first semester at Chico State, and she has a passion and love for communicating, teaching Japanese, and helping others.
