Year in School: Senior

Starlene was born and raised in San Jose, before moving around to Sacramento and finally Chico. Moved to Chico due to a family needing support and decided to get their degree finished at Butte before gaining a Transfer to Chico State. Currently have an associate in sociology and an associate in History with a Transfer. Now working on a Bachelor's in General History. Their historical focus is studying the history of science and technology- primarily occult science, and America in the 19th century with a focus on labor movements and coffin history. Outside of school, they enjoy reading comics, finding new music, and watching movies. Excited to start working with everyone and hope to aid them in being successful with Hist 130.
