Travis was born and raised in Chico. After high school, he joined the Navy where he spent nine years as a Chinese linguist. After leaving the Navy in 2018 Travis attended Butte College before transferring to Chico State to work on his bachelor's degree. In his free time, Travis enjoys distance running and cooking.
