 Josh Bindewald

Josh Bindewald is an artist, maker, arts professional based in Minneapolis. His primary focus in printmaking but he works within many different media and techniques. Informed by personal experience and employing a maximal aesthetic, Josh attempts to visually interpret and/or respond to the beauty of the natural world, contemporary society, and the fallibility of humankind...sometimes all at once. Professionally, he’s very employable and has held a lot of different jobs in his life but currently he is the Director of Artist Programs at Highpoint Center for Printmaking (where he has been since 2012) and is a member of the Board of Directors of the North Suburban Center for the Arts in Fridley. Josh has a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and an MFA from Bradley University. He is an avid collector of memes, and has never met a dog he doesn't like.
