During this overview of unconscious bias and its impact on the hiring process, you will be provided tools and strategies for ensuring that the best candidates apply and are hired for open positions. Time for discussion and opportunities to practice implementing the strategies are included in the workshop.

Workshop enrollees are encouraged to complete an online exercise in preparation to the workshop: Implicit Association Test (IAT)

This training is interactive, so attendance is limited CSU-wide. Registration is on a first come, first-served basis, so don't delay! If you register then can't attend, please cancel your registration so another may have your virtual seat - thank you.

Frequency: This training is required every four years to maintain certification.

Instructors: Maximilian Cordeiro (Retention Specialist, Employment Services).

Audience: All campus employees serving on, or responsible for, personnel selection committees. See your HR's search committee procedures for details.. This is a CSU-wide training.

System Requirements: This course is interactive and uses Zoom breakout rooms. For best results, please log in with a camera and microphone or headset, if possible.
