CalPERS Planning Your Retirement-May 8th

Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 11 a.m.–noon

Are you nearing retirement? Topics include Service Credit, retirement formulas, final compensation, retirement payment options, health benefits, and much more. The session will be a slide show presentation with time for Q&A at the end.

You will find the following CalPERS webinars helpful in preparing questions to bring to the information session: CalPERS Planning Your Retirement and Retirement Payment Options.

The following pre-work is highly recommended:

1. Create your personal MyCalPERS account to calculate retirement estimates, view service credit, update personal information (such as beneficiaries), and more.
2. Watch the CalPERS YouTube video series that explains different aspects of CalPERS retirement in short, easy-to-access videos.
3. Log in to MyCalPERS to sign up for a virtual class or make an appointment with an expert (look under the "Education" tab).

We want to connect employees to CalPERS earlier in the process for retirement planning as they know their program best! Completing the steps above will help you get the most out of your retirement planning.
