American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California, Chico Chapter (ACLU)
The Chico Chapter of the ACLU meets monthly in Chico.

African American Family and Cultural Center
A cultural center for community members to create a place that supports the values of the Black and African American community.

Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter affirms the lives of Black queer and trans individuals, disabled folks, Black-undocumented folks, folks with records, women, and all Black lives along the gender spectrum. It centers those that have been marginalized within Black liberation movements.

California Women’s Law Center

6th Street Center for Youth
The mission of the 6th Street Center is to provide a safe place where youth experiencing homelessness can acquire the skills, resources, and opportunities, they need to transition into healthy independent living and adulthood.

The Arc of Butte County
The Arc of Butte County is a nonprofit community organization serving individual with developmental disabilities and their families.

Butte County Behavioral Health—Chico Services
Behavioral Health provides services for individuals in crisis, for youth, for adults and for alcohol and drug treatment. Services are provided in Chico, Paradise, Oroville, Gridley, and rural communities. They are here to Help.

MHSD administers a number of mental health programs for children and youth, adults, and older adults.

Center for Healthy Communities

Rape Crisis Intervention
Rape Crisis provides a variety of services to sexual assault survivors and their family members and friends within Butte, Glenn, and Tehama counties.

Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network
RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800-656-HOPE, online.rainn.org and rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

Safe Space Winter Shelter
The mission of the Chico Housing Action Team is to ensure that every person in our community has access to fair and adequate shelter and sanitation.

Shalom Free Clinic
The Clinic mission is “to provide underinsured and uninsured children, teens, and adults with health screening, primary care interventions, health service, and education. This includes physical, mental, and behavioral health services. All services are provided free of charge. They welcome and accept people of all sexual orientations, races, genders, nationalities, ages, economic standings, marital status, mental and or physical abilities, and family configurations.

Torres Community Shelter
The Torres Community Shelter is a large 140-bed homeless shelter in Chico that serves men, women, and families with children. In addition to providing overnight shelter, showers, and an evening meal, they strive to help people improve their circumstance: find jobs, housing, and other support systems vital to getting back on their feet.

Women's Health Specialists
They provide services for women, men, trans individuals, and youth. English, Spanish, and Hmong spoken.
