The policies and guidelines listed below are applicable to technology use by CSU, Chico Faculty, Staff, and Students.

Computing and Communication Technology

These policies include all systems/resources for both local departmental and central university wide facilities and applies only to institutional data and/or equipment.

Information Security

The CSU Responsible Use 8105.0 (PDF) provides direction for managing and protecting the confidentiality,
integrity and availability of CSU information assets. 

The CSU, Chico Information Security Policies and Standards links to campus and system wide policies, standards and other related documentation.

CENIC/CalREN

The California State University CENIC/CalREN Acceptable Use Policy applies to all uses of CalREN whether such use originates or terminates with devices directly attached to the network or with devices that are attached to networks that directly or indirectly interconnect with CalREN. It also applies regardless of whether such devices are operated by employees of institutions that own such devices or by other agents or third parties.
