Hello, I am Angelica and this is my third year here at Chico State! I am from the small town known as Fillmore, which is located in Southern California, specifically Ventura County. I am an English Studies major, and a creative writing minor, and I am also working towards getting the Literary Editing and Publishing (LEAP) certificate as well. I love reading and writing and I hope to one day be a book editor and help authors improve their projects. I was an SI leader for three semesters for the course PSYC 100. Being an SI leader was such a wonderful experience where I got to work with and support such amazing and kind students. This is my first semester as a mentor in the SI program, and I am looking forward to supporting my mentees and helping them be the best leaders they can be!
