Hello, my name is Olivia, and I’m a senior Business Administration student specializing in Human Resources at Chico State. I’m currently a Supplemental Instructor for ECON 103, where I’ve had the privilege of helping students succeed academically. Originally from San Jose, California, I’m passionate about supporting others and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
Being an SI has not only allowed me to share my knowledge of economics but also to develop my skills in leadership, communication, and adaptability. My background in Human Resources aligns well with this role, as both focus on empowering individuals and helping them achieve their goals. Outside of academics, I enjoy baking, reading, and swimming. I’m committed to creating a welcoming space where everyone feels supported, and I look forward to continuing this rewarding journey this semester!
