Hi! My name is Rachel and I am one of 3 SI leaders specifically supporting EOP students through POLS 155 in the fall and Study Skills in the spring. I am in my 3rd year as a Microbiology major. I am hoping to become a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and work in a hospital setting. I am originally from Madison Wisconsin, but I graduated from high school in Davis CA. I became an SI leader because I enjoy working with people and I want to help students feel more confident about their work. I have loved working with students and it has even softened me up to the idea of possibly pursuing a teaching position if clinical work ends up not being for me. I met so many great students last semester and I can’t wait to meet even more this semester!
