Wildcat Day on the Farm

Chico State campus community, we invite you to the 2024 Wildcat Day on the Farm, Friday, April 5th from 3 - 6 p.m.

We're featuring sausage from the University Farm Meats Lab from 3 - 6 p.m., a plant sale at the Greenhouses and a chance to learn about our Learning Laboratory referred to as the University Farm by taking a walk around the heart of the farm to see what we get to offer our students at animal and plant units. A jolly trolly tour will be available at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. for those needing assistance.

Wildcat Day on the Farm is an open house for the Chico State community, including Chico State students, faculty, and staff. The event will feature a guided tours, games and prizes, and sausage from the Chico State University Farm Meats Lab.

• Visit the University's 800-acre living laboratory for agricultural education.
• Join guided tours of the beef, sheep, swine, and organic dairy units, Organic Vegetable Project, greenhouses, meat laboratory, crops, and orchards.
• Test your agricultural literacy and enter to win a University Farm gift basket. 

Shuttle service is available for those wishing to depart from campus to the farm and back. Shuttle will pick up and drop off at the 2nd and Warner parking garage and will run every 15-20 minutes from campus to the farm and back.
