Amber Lance

Amber Lance, who graduated in 2008 with a triple major in Economics, Legal Studies, and International Relations and a minor in Ethics.  She is an associate attorney with MalmFagundes LLP in Stockton, California.  At Chico State Amber participated in the Model United Nations where she was recognized with the best brief and the outstanding delegation at the national competition. She was a member of the Ethics Team and a semi-finalist in their National Competition.  Amber was also president of the Speech and Debate Club and a member of both the Political Science and the Philosophy Honors Society.  Amber also participated in the Moot Court where she was awarded the Best Brief and finalist in 2006. 

After graduation Amber enrolled at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) School of Law where she earned her J.D. in 2011.  While working on her law degree Amber worked as a law clerk in the Sacramento County District Attorneys Office for a year beginning in May of 2010.  Amber also worked as an assistant writer and research assistant at UC Davis for almost 2 years.  In 2012 Amber accepted a position as associate attorney with Ruderman and Knox in Sacramento, California.  She also found time to serve as a volunteer attorney for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in Sacramento.  In 2014 Amber joined MalmFagundes where she is currently working.  (Last Updated 9/13/18)
