Chevallier and Collins on Tour!

This week, Chase Chevallier and Nathan Collins head to Albuquerque, New Mexico to take part in a conference held by the Southwest Texas Popular Culture and American Culture Association.

Chevallier will be presenting his paper “Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged: The Morality of Judgment and the Role of Landscape inBlood Meridian: Or, Evening Redness in the West” in a panel dedicated to Cormac McCarthy’sBlood Meridian.  Collins will be presenting his paper “The Cabin That Thoreau Built: Variations of Individualism in Transcendentalist Thought” in a general literature panel focusing on American identity.  A few weeks later, Chevallier and Collins are slated to present again at the graduate conference at University of Nevada, Reno.  We are excited to be represented by two of our best and brightest.  Break a leg, boys
