Implementation Team Accomplishments
- Separated Labor Relations and Title IX/DHR into separate departments.
- Hired Director of Staff Labor Relations
- In Title IX – hired AVP of EODR (started 1/31/24), hired additional Investigator (started 2/5/24), hired confidential administrative support staff member, and promoted investigator to Deputy Title IX Coordinator/DHR Administrator/Investigator
- Created and filled new position: Director of Climate and Culture
- Working on relocating Title IX office to a more accessible location
- Heard loud and clear from Restorative Circles, campus wide in-person feedback session and in person meeting with campus members the need for the Title IX office to be in a more accessible location & trauma informed space.
- Developed a draft Community Agreements in Fall 2023 and updated it beginning of Spring 2024.
- Broadened membership of ‘Other Conduct of Concern’ Sub-committee during Spring 2024 to carry on this important work. Members include:

- For Spring 2024, timeline in place for broader campus conversations to update and adopt it for Chico State.
- Broadened membership of ‘Other Conduct of Concern’ Sub-committee during Spring 2024 to carry on this important work. Members include:
- Established a successful model of cooperation between TITLE IX and Faculty Affairs and Success (FAAF), Student Conduct, and Labor Relations including bi-weekly meetings.
- Made improvements to Title IX trainings for students so that they are mobile device friendly and removed content identified as activating/triggering (p.s. people are moving away from the word triggering)
- Piloting an alternative, in-person option for Title IX compliance training for faculty - scheduled for April 5 th from 1-2 PM.
