Events and Activities

Wildcat Weekend offers a variety of family friendly events. While the majority of activities are free, there are a few events that require tickets:

Food and Beverages

Kinder's BBQ will be serving up their famous sandwiches at the Wildcat Family Barbecue(opens in new window) on Saturday, October 5. Additional food options will be also available on campus, including food trucks and dining at Éstom Jámani Hall (no pre-paid ticket required). You're also welcome to bring your own food(opens in new window) and enjoy a picnic on the Kendall Hall Lawn!

Bring your own water bottle to refill at our hydration stations. For those 21 and over, cool off with a drink from the Beer Garden ($).   

Chico Weather
Average daily temps in Chico during October are in the mid-80's, but it can reach up into the 90's. We recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket, as some of the air-conditioned buildings can get chilly. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes to enjoy the full weekend of activities.
Directions and Parking
