The Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics

Total Course Requirements for the Bachelor’s Degree: 120 units

See “Requirements for the Bachelor’s Degree” in The University Catalog for complete details on general degree requirements. A minimum of 40 units, including those required for the major, must be upper division.

In addition to the courses requied for the BA in Linguistics, a minimum of one year of college-level courses in a foreign language is strongly recommended, with a second year strongly encouraged.
