Jamie Clyde

California State University is pleased to announce Jamie M. Clyde as the Interim Vice President for Business and Finance effective April 6, 2023.

Jamie has served as Executive Director of the Associated Students since January 2020 and brings to the Division of Business and Finance a reputation for innovative leadership and fiscal prudence.

Jamie has a background in finance and business operations.  She has a proven record to cultivate relationships and create a positive leadership environment.  Prior to assuming the Executive Director role, Jamie served as Associate Executive Director from July 2015 to January 2020.  During her eight years with Associated Students, the auxiliary has benefited from her operational management of program development, facilities stewardship, strategic planning, budget development and implementation, and monitoring of operating reserves.

Jamie did her undergraduate work at California State University, Chico in education and communications.  After graduation, she worked in the hotel, gaming and hospitality industry for 15 years, seven years of experience in hotel and restaurant management and five years as adjunct faculty in hospitality for College of the Redwoods.  As she moved through different leadership roles she returned to school and obtained an MBA from Colorado State University.

Jamie has an eclectic background in business management and education.  At the core she identifies as a teach, advisor and mentor.  She loves working with students and thrives when identifying out-of-the-box business innovations.
