About Us

Mission Statement

The mission of Undergraduate Research under the Office of Undergraduate Education and Academic Success is to

expand and improve students’ opportunities to do meaningful research in support of academic engagement, persistence, and post-baccalaureate success;
support aligned, scaffolded, high-quality course-based undergraduate research in UED programs; and
support campus’ efforts to amplify and celebrate undergraduate research through a UGR support network, campus events, and award celebrations, paying particular attention to access and equity for underserved students.
