Transfer Success Pathway
The Transfer Success Pathway (TSP) is your path to the California State University system. Enrolling in a TSP agreement right now guarantees your future admission to Chico State for the program of your choice as long as you become transfer-eligible and transfer within three years.
As guided by the Governor’s Council for Post-Secondary Education Recovery with Equity report(opens in new window) and the Postsecondary Education Trailer Bill (AB 132)(opens in new window), the TSP program will help improve the student transfer experience while addressing potential equity issues as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, issues with academic preparation and other challenges facing high school students.
How to Enroll in a TSP
- Create a Transfer Planner account
The CSU Transfer Planner simplifies the process of researching programs and applying to transfer to a CSU campus. For additional help, the CSU has provided detailed Transfer Planner instructions. - Complete the TSP Eligibility Questionnaire
Determine your eligibility for TSP using the questionnaire inside the Transfer Planner. Generally, eligible students are those who are entering college for the first time in fall 2023, at a California Community College, and who have not previously enrolled in a community college or university since completing high school. - Enroll in a TSP
You may enter one TSP agreement with one campus for one major. Complete the form to request enrollment with the campus of your choice. You will receive a response in 3–5 business days. You may request to be released from your TSP within the enrollment period if you wish to change your campus or major, but you may not make changes after the enrollment period. - Update Your TSP Profile
As you complete college coursework, update your TSP profile regularly. This helps your future CSU campus monitor your progress and provide personalized advising along the way.
