Giving at Chico State

Give to Chico State

Gifts to Chico State allow us to invest in the students and the university. A donation to Chico State is a partnership, giving deans and faculty immediate funding to create innovative curricula and real-world experiences that prepare students for meaningful careers.

Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve Emergency Fund

The vast majority of Chico State's Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve (BCCER) burned during the Park Fire in July 2024, causing varying degrees of damage to the land, destroying the reserve’s headquarters and most other structures, and deeply impacting the flora and fauna for whom the land is stewarded. Make a gift today to support the immediate, critical needs to minimize further harm to the wildlife, landscape, and watershed that call BCCER home

Why Give

By donating to Chico State, you are ensuring that gaps in state funding won’t hinder our ability to provide state-of-the-art learning and a meaningful Chico State experience for current and future Wildcats.

"I had the privilege and the honor of receiving the [Lt. Robert Merton] Rawlins Award, the most prestigious award at Chico State. It was very exciting for me, and I feel very honored. It’s a great step for our program and also for myself—being able to get out of college debt-free. That was one of my goals. And from a professional aspect, I’ve gotten so much recognition. It’s been amazing getting to network with other people just solely on this award."
