Ceremony Live Stream

• March 1: Deadline to apply to graduate if you want to be in the Commencement program and T-Shirt
  Ensure you meet all academic requirements and apply for degree conferral with Graduation Advising(opens in new window). Applying to graduate means completing your degree requirements.
• March 6: Kick-off to Commencement season begins at GradFest! Register to walk in your ceremony

  GradFest occurs at the Wildcat Bookstore(opens in new window) on March 6 and 7 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. GradFest is the graduate's one-stop shop for all things Commencement. 

  At GradFest, you can:

  • Register to walk at Commencement(opens in new window). Registration (RSVP) is critical to ensure the graduate is issued a GradPass. The GradPass serves as the graduate's ticket entry into the stadium. 
  • Receive your guest tickets. Graduates will receive up to eight guest tickets.
  • Proof your name display and pronunciation for the ceremonies.
  • Pre-order your cap and gown(opens in new window)
  • Take commencement portraits
  • Pre-order your Grad T-shirt and more!(opens in new window)

  Can't make it to GradFest? No worries! Most steps can be completed online through the commencement website, including registering to walk in your ceremony. Look for the 'Marching Order' link on this page beginning March 6.

• March 6 - May 9: Cap and Gown Pre-Orders

  Pre-order your cap and gown through Herff Jones beginning March 6. Graduates can pick up their regalia at the Wildcat Bookstore or have it shipped home. Visit the Apparel(opens in new window) section to learn more. Please be aware of these deadlines:

  • March 12 at 9:00 pm PST - Deadline to pre-order regalia for pick-up in the Bookstore
  • April 17 at 9:00 pm PST - Deadline to pre-order regalia to be shipped to home
  • May 9 at 9:00 pm PST - Deadline to pre-order regalia to be shipped to home with expedited shipping charges
  • Beginning May 6, in-store rental and pick-up of regalia are available at Wildcat Bookstore.
• April 17: Deadline to register to walk at commencement

  All graduates planning to participate in Commencement 2024 at University Stadium must register on Marching Order. The registration platform will open on the Commencement website on March 6 through the Marching Order icon and close on April 17 at midnight.

  Registering on Marching Order ensures:

  • Your RSVP attendance at the ceremony. RSVP is critical as it ensures the graduate is issued a GradPass. The GradPass serves as the graduate's ticket entry into the stadium. 
  • Your guest tickets. Graduates may receive up to eight guest tickets.
  • Your name display and pronunciation for the jumbotron during your ceremony are accurate
• April 23: Senior Send-Off and Regalia Available for Pick-Up

  Beginning at 9:00 a.m., graduates can collect pre-ordered regalia at the Wildcat Bookstore.

  Join us at Senior Send-Off on April 23rd between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lawn. Graduates can receive their Grad T-shirt, visit the Commencement help desk, and enjoy games, treats, and much more! 

• May 6: Walk-in rental and purchases for cap and gown
  Didn't pre-order your cap and gown? Walk-ins for cap and gown rentals can be made at the Wildcat Bookstore.(opens in new window)
• May 8: Digital GradPasses will be distributed
  Your Digital GradPass will be sent to your Wildcat email address with the subject line "Here is your GradPass!" The GradPass is crucial for taking place in commencement and entering the stadium. If you have not registered to walk in the ceremony, you will not receive a GradPass. No GradPass = No stadium entry!
