Graduation Application

Read the following then apply below:

  • Apply for the graduation term in which you will complete all degree requirements and coursework.

  • The correct major, including option & pattern, minor (if applicable), and certificate (if applicable) must be declared before completing the graduation application. Submit a plan change form to make any corrections prior to submitting application. 

  • Payment is required when you submit your application and must be received by the on-time deadline to avoid a late fee.

  • Financial Aid Recipients: If you are submitting the graduation application to extend your graduation date you must also complete the Enrollment Update Form to receive aid for the future term.
  • Check the status of your graduation application: Student Center > Academic Progress > Graduation Information > Expected Grad Term: If this matches the term you applied to, your graduation application has been processed and is on file.
    • Applied- Paid for Graduation = Your graduation application and payment have been received and entered. The graduation date reflects the term and year you applied and should match the date in which you plan to complete all degree requirements.

    • Needs To Complete Remaining Requirements = A preliminary graduation evaluation of your record has been completed by a Graduation Advisor. Your DPR has been reviewed and should accurately reflect your graduation progress.

    • Final Review in Progress = Grades for your graduation term have been submitted but are not yet finalized. Administrative processing is required before the final review can occur.  If all requirements are completed your degree can be posted to your record.

    • Degree Has Been Awarded = Your degree has been posted to your record, and you are officially graduated! No changes can be made to your record now that the degree has been awarded. This will also be reflected at the top of your transcript.

    • Denied for Graduation = Degree requirements were not met by your expected graduation date. We need further information from you or your advisor, or you may need to extend your graduation date.

  • The graduation application fee is $68. The late fee is $10. To change your graduation date, the re-file fee is $8 (Additional fees charged for paying online).
  • To avoid the late fee, students must apply and pay fees due one year in advance, and by the on-time deadline. 
  • If your last date of attendance was fall 2003 or prior, please contact Graduation Advising for assistance with the graduation application.
