Get Involved!

The College of Business encourages our students to seek co-curricular experiences throughout their tenure at Chico State. We believe you learn outside the classroom as well as in. Our programs of distinctions, student clubs, and special events offer you the opportunity to expand your knowledge, learn about new careers, explore leadership opportunities, expand your network among alumni and professionals who share your passion(s), quench your curiosity by trying something new, and so much more. All you need to do is Get Involved!

Why should I participate in this program?

• As noted above, we believe you learn outside of the classroom as well as in, and we encourage our students to seek co-curricular experiences throughout their tenure at Chico State. You'll also be eligible for prizes when you attend a College of Business event and eligible non-COB events (see below).

Did you say prizes?

• We sure did! Each month we're giving away a study at home gift basket and a grand prize at the end of the semester - a set of Apple AirPods! For every COB event you attend, you earn a raffle ticket (good for the monthly drawings AND the grand prize drawing at the end of the semester). Please note: only current COB majors are eligible for prizes. 

This sounds awesome, how do I get started?

• All you need to do is attend COB events and make sure you log your attendance afterwards. A link will be provided to you at the end of each event.

What about non-COB events?

• Great question! We definitely encourage Business students to seek out non-COB co-curricular experiences and events listed here will also earn you a Get Involved! raffle ticket. Please note: this list is subject to change.
