Appointment of Director of Faculty Development

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Zach Justus on his selection as Director of Faculty Development following a campus search. Dr. Justus has most recently served as the Interim Director of Faculty Development since August 1, 2023, and previously served as the Interim Director of Faculty Development from fall 2015-spring 2017. He received his Ph.D. in Communication from Arizona State University and joined the faculty at Chico State in 2009. Dr. Justus is a full professor in the Communication Arts and Sciences Department and served as Department Chair from spring 2019-spring 2022 and Program Coordinator for Communication Studies from fall 2022-spring 2023.
I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Justus and his many contributions to faculty development.
