First Time in College

CA Resident
2.50 or greater GPA

Eligibility based on supplemental factors.

Non-CA Resident
3.0 or greater GPA

2.47-2.99 GPA
Eligibility based on supplemental factors.

Courses
Complete “a-g” college preparatory requirements with C- or better by the end of your senior year of high school.

Tests
No SAT or ACT test scores are required!


Transfer Students

2.0 or greater GPA
Eligible

Lower-Division Transfer

  • Completed less than 60 units
  • Complete Written Communication (A2) and College Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning (B4) with a grade of C- or better.
  • Be in "Good Standing" at the last college or university attended

Upper-Division Transfer

  • Completed 60 or more transferable semester (90 quarter) units
  • Complete 30 semester (45 quarter) units of general education with C- or better
  • Complete Oral Communication (A1), Written Communication (A2), Critical Thinking (A3) and College Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning (B4) with a grade of C- or better.
  • Be in "Good Standing" at the last college or university attended

2nd Bachelor’s Degree

2.5 or greater GPA
Eligible

Graduate: Admission Requirements

  • Completed a four-year college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree.
