CalFresh Healthy Living(opens in new window) (SNAP-Ed) supports healthy, active and nourished lifestyles by teaching Californians about good nutrition and how to stretch their food dollars, while also building partnerships in communities to make the healthy choice, the easy choice. Center for Healthy Communities has partnered with CalFresh Healthy Living to bring nutrition and physical activity education to communities throughout Northern California.

Area Agency on Aging

CHC partners to implement CalFresh Healthy Living(opens in new window) programs for older adults who are SNAP-Ed eligible. These partnerships help provide classes and information to help low-income older adults lead a healthy lifestyle. Counties served: Lassen, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Plumas, and Tehama.
