April 3, 2024 - Follow Chico State’s Budget Process on New Website
Dear Campus Community,
At the University Budget Committee meeting last month, I discussed Chico State’s budget process. This process has included significant work by our University Financial Services Team and University Budget Committee. I want to thank everyone for their hard work. The result of this work is a “budget call” (on website below). The division vice presidents received the budget call last week, and over the next two months will work with their respective units to develop plans and projections.
Additionally, a new website has been created to continuously update campus on this Chico State budget and budget process. The site includes the budget communications shared with campus, University Budget Committee education sessions, recommendations, and more.
As you will see, we have a lot of work to do to close a significant budget shortfall. I am confident that together we will be able to do the work to close this shortfall and support our students and each other.
