BA in Child Development

Kendra Lewis

Kendra graduated from CSU Chico in 2007 with a BA in Child Development and minor in Psychology. She went on to earn her Master’s (2010) and Ph.D. (2012) in Human Development and Family Studies from Oregon State University. While in Oregon, Kendra‘s research focused on program evaluation of school-based social-emotional and character development programs. From 2012-2014, she was a postdoctoral fellow at UC Davis, evaluating a positive youth development curriculum being delivered to youth in the 4-H Youth Development Program, and also taught a few Child Development courses online for CSU Chico. In 2014, she started working for University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources as the Academic Coordinator for Evaluation for the California 4-H Youth Development Program. Kendra looks back on her time at CSU Chico fondly, and thanks all her Child Development professors for their wisdom and guidance, even after she graduated.
