Clickers

Clickers: engage your classroom!

A Student Response System (SRS) is a wireless response system that allows faculty to request information and for students to respond by using a “clicker” or hand-held response pad to send his or her information to a receiver. When presented with a question, the student presses a button on a hand-held response pad or clicker, which sends either an infrared or radio signal to a receiver attached to a computer. The computer records and/or displays the response per the instructor’s preference.

New to Clickers: Contact the Technology and Learning Program X:6167 to learn more about how you can use clickers in your classroom.

Check the Clicker Classrooms assignment page to make sure that your classroom has a receiver installed. If it does not, contact Claudine Franquet at X:5551 before your class starts.

Current Keypad firmware version is 1.2.1
There may be some keypads with outdated versions of the software installed on them. You can check the version in the Setup Menu. If it is anything other than 1.2.1, go to the computer lab on the first floor of the Library and ask at the front desk.
