6th Annual Tipping Point Student Success Summit

As we continue to dig more deeply into our persistent student success equity gaps, and in alignment with the CSU’s strategic Workgroup on Black Student Success(opens in new window)
We’ll hear from two outstanding Chico state alumni: Kimate Richards, Senior Strategic Architect, Amazon Web Services, and Thembi Mawema, Director of The Shade Room; an inspiring faculty spotlight featuring Dr. Lateasha Meyers, Assistant Professor of African American Studies in the Department of Multicultural and Gender Studies; an engaging panel with some of our students sharing their experiences; a speech from our Associated Students President Autumn Alaniz-Wiggins; and panels with senior campus leaders, including President Steve Perez, Vice President for Student Affairs Isaac Brundage, and University Diversity Officer Joseph Morales.
We’ll learn about the data, about student experiences, and about how we each can better serve this student population and become a more truly inclusive institution.
