AB 798 Overview
In 2015, California State Legislature passed Assembly Bill No. 798(opens in new window) to “reduce costs for college students by encouraging faculty to accelerate the adoption of lower cost, high-quality open educational resources”. Supported by an AB 798 grant(opens in new window), Chico State offered Faculty Learning Communities in 2017-2018 to support faculty in their selection of lower cost, high-quality course materials.
