CURE-E Course: Analytic Geometry and Calculus (MATH 121), first introduced with CURE-E Fall 2021 

Project Title: Case Studies in Second Semester Calculus  

Students will explore case studies examining real-world applications of topics from the course.  The case studies will task students with identifying a problem, developing models and a plan, then determining a solution and/or making predictions based on their models.   

Students will complete three total case studies.  These will start as scaffolded activities with supports being removed at each iteration.  The final case study will be mostly independent and will require that the student identify a novel (to them) problem and solution.
