CURE-E Course: Applied Research in Animal Nutrition (ANSC 330L), first introduced in Fall 2023

Project Title: Implementing CURE-E in ANSC 330L

This course conducts a 45-day animal feeding trial and analyzes samples to determine digestibility of various feeds.  It is an immersive experience for our students and provides them with a glimpse of the full process of research, through data collection, analysis and dissemination of information.  This year we are replicating a research project to evaluate the potential of an essential oil supplement to improve fiber digestion in lambs.  This project is sponsored by a company, providing new information for the company as well as the sheep industry.
