CURE-E Course: Robotic Manufacturing Systems (AMAR 460), Spring 2024

Project Title: Applied Industrial Robotics Project

The CURE-E project is an applied Industrial Robot Project and follows the philosophy that it takes a village to build a robot. The project will involve the creation of a robotic manufacturing work cell for the Omron lab or for a local industry partner. Students will be broken into groups of three or four to work collaboratively on a design solution. Course modules introduced though out the semester will outline the steps required to complete the final design. The final design will be a digital representation aka a Digital Twin. Student groups will present their designs to the class and/or their assigned industry partner at the end of the semester. Students will create and curate an online presence that contributes to the online, open-source robotics community.
