Other resources for parents

Parents and guardians play a huge role in the lives of our residents. Chico State is in one of the few true college towns in the nation. The campus provides many opportunities for you to stay connected.  We encourage you to check out the parents website.  There you will find information about upcoming events, and a schedule of deadlines.

The Chico State Alumni Association has created a Parent's Guide to highlight events and topics that will be of interest to new members of the Chico State family. We want you to experience all that Chico State has to offer. This guide will offer some ways for you to get involved. You will also find some great ideas you can share with your student about campus and community life, and resources. The unique blending of campus and community life here provides an artistic and cultural environment that is more common to large metropolitan centers than small communities like Chico.

Each year, University Housing sends out several Our House News Letters with information about finances, tips for success and suggestions to help your resident have their best experience possible.

If you need content in accessible format please contact the Office of Accessible Technology and Services at 530-898-4863 or email jdolguin@csuchico.edu.
