Academic Advising Programs

Kylee Sharp

Advisor Training and Development Coordinator

Kylee originally came to Chico State as a transfer student from Yuba College and attended the university for two years before graduating with a B.A. in Psychology in 2013. During her undergraduate years, Kylee worked in Academic Advising Programs as an Advising Intern. After graduation, she went on to work at Sacramento State where she completed her M.A. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies while working in their Academic Advising Center. Kylee returned to Chico State as a professional Academic Advisor in 2017 as a member of the Business Student Advising team and later served as the College Advising and Retention Specialist for the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. After building out advising services and opening a student success office for the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, Kylee returned to Academic Advising Programs to take on the role of Advisor Training and Development Coordinator. She is grateful for the opportunity to support advisors across the campus through the expansion of new and improved training programs. When she isn’t in the office or doing homework for her PhD program, Kylee can be found hiking, biking, kayaking, and crafting with her family.
