In 2013 Abigail enrolled at Chico State and continued working as a barista at Barnes and Noble and later Starbucks, while working as a front desk agent at the Best Western Heritage Inn on weekends. Abigail also worked for the Department of Economics as a student assistant and tutor.

“My economics degree has given me a framework for analyzing the world that I use every day at school and in my work,” Abigail stated in a recent email.  “A strong grasp of economic concepts has positioned me extremely well in my studies, as policy makers are always concerned about the economic impacts of their decisions.”  (Last Updated 3/30/20)
