Dan Johnson(opens in new window), who graduated with a BA in Economics and a BS in Business Administration and Finance in 2008, is a foreign exchange manager(opens in new window) at PayPal(opens in new window) in San Jose, California. Dan interned with Smith Barney(opens in new window) during his junior year at Chico State and with Merrill Lynch(opens in new window) during his senior year. After graduation, Dan accepted a position with Fisher Investments(opens in new window) in sales and he was quickly promoted to regional operations.
After leaving Fisher in 2009, Dan worked as an administrative manager for the Institute for Regulatory Training(opens in new window) in Mill Valley, California. In 2010 Dan signed on with CoPilot Financial(opens in new window) as director of investment operations in San Jose, California. Dan left CoPilot for eBay(opens in new window) in 2011 where he worked as a treasury analyst(opens in new window) in San Francisco, California. In 2013 eBay promoted Dan to senior treasury analyst and in 2015 to treasury manager(opens in new window), both position he held in Luxembourg.
In 2015 Dan accepted an appointment as treasury manager for PayPal in Luxembourg. In 2018 PayPal promoted Dan to foreign exchange manager in San Jose where he is currently working.
