On its web page it states,”Saorsa was created to connect and support Economic Developers across the United States. Our goal is to support the people that continue working towards improving tomorrow. Specifically, we are focused on providing meaningful content to enable community leaders to understand the complex world of economic development.”

“In my freshman year I chose to switch from finance to economics for the doors that it kept open because, like most freshman, I didn't really know what I wanted to do,” Duncan stated in a recent email. “Studying economics at Chico has provided me with a tool kit to analyze issues in the economy and government, understanding how banks and businesses operate, and develop my ability to understand why and how people make decisions. This tool kit enabled me to be a highly effective student leader and continues to pay dividends in my professional career.” (last updated 3/24/23)
