Grant Dechert

Grant Dechert(opens in new window), who completed his BA in Economics with an Option in International Economics and his BS in Finance in 2015, is an analyst at BlackRock(opens in new window). He spent the summer as an intern at BlackRock and joined BlackRock full-time upon his graduation. He now works as an analyst in BlackRock's Exchange Traded Fund business (iShares).
While a student at Chico State Grant spent the summer of 2013 as an analyst for Franklin Templeton Investments(opens in new window), concentrating on strategic project management in Rancho Cordova. In the summer of 2014 he interned for Franklin Templeton in New York City, where he worked on a large capitalization equity portfolio management desk. He also worked as a philosophy T.A. at Chico State during the spring semester of 2012.
