Matthew Chie

Matthew Chie(opens in new window), who graduated in 2011 with a BA in Economics and a BS in Business Administration with an option in Finance, is an associate at BTIG(opens in new window), LLC in San Francisco. He was a member of the Econ Club, the Finance Club, and the Men’s Rugby team at Chico State. During the summer between his sophomore and junior year Matthew interned with Rayner and Haynor Investment. Counselors and completed a training course at Bloomberg(opens in new window) in San Francisco, California. Between his junior and senior year he interned with Global Hunter Securities(opens in new window). Matthew also found time to work as a tutor and grader in the Economics Department at Chico State from 2008 – 2011.

After graduation Matthew worked as an investment associate for Advanced Equities Inc. for almost a year until he took a position as operations specialist for capital markets with Stifel Financial Corporation(opens in new window).
