Sean Wever

Sean Wever, who  graduated in 2006 with a BA and Honors in economics, is a trader and analyst at Galtere Ltd in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.  While a student at Chico State, Sean was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the Golden Key Society and the Chico State Economics Club. 

After graduation Sean enrolled in graduate school the University of Wyoming. In 2009 he completed dual masters in Economics and Finance and moved to the Virgin Islands where he tended bar for one year before beginning his career in finance. 

In 2011 he began working for Bullseye Central, LLC, a proprietary trading firm that specializes in high frequency algorithmic trading.  In February of 2013 he was offered a job as Director of Sales for Green Key Markets (GKM). He accepted the offer and split his time between offices in Chicago and Puerto Rico where he worked as the Principal for GKM, an introducing broker (IB) of cleared swaps and blocks in the over-the-counter (OTC) commodities space. GKM is involved in the biofuels space with the primary focus being the Chicago (Platts settled) ethanol contract. Sean also wrote a weekly ethanol newsletter for his customers. 

In 2014 Sean accepted a position as trader and analyst for Galtere Ltd. Where he currently works.  (Last Updated 8/12/18)
