Healthcare Training: LGBTQ+ Ally-ship

This training is intended to give you an introduction to providing care to patients who identify as LGBTQ+. The LGBTQ+ community is made up of many different people, but what unites them as a community is their similar social adversities, challenges with stigma and decimation, and struggle to get complete and high-quality healthcare. We believe that by becoming a "Visible Healthcare Ally" you can play a role in improving LGBTQ+ healthcare.

Training will provide:
- Certificate of completion
- "I'm an Ally" Visible Allyship Pin
- Summarize important LGBTQ+ terminology
- Describe health disparities faced by LGBTQ+ people
- Explain the importance of effective communication to provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ patients
- Interactive case studies
