All They Will Call You, by Tim Z. Hernandez, is the harrowing account of “the worst airplane disaster in California’s history,” which claimed the lives of thirty-two passengers, including twenty-eight Mexican citizens—farmworkers who were being deported by the U.S. government. For the first time in history, on March 13, 2019, Chico State's Book in Common lecture will be available via streaming video to all of the County Libraries in Chico State's 12-county service area.
Agents of Change

This event consists of the Agents of Change documentary screening and discussion in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 115-day student strike that resulted in the creation of Ethnic Studies Programs in higher education. It is free and open to the public. There will also be refreshments provided for all participants!
